Flooding. Coal Ash. Say No More.
Flood of Voices is hitting the streets to bring awareness to our most vulnerable neighborhoods. We are making a debut on the peninsula of Hampton Roads at King Lincoln Park in Newport News. Flood of Voices is a series dedicated to the stories of those being affected by rising tides and flooding, especially the voices of those not normally heard. Check out our storytelling series here: http://floodofvoices.tumblr.com/
During the Flood of Voices Block Party, we will bring awareness to the local community on the climate change issues that impact Hampton Roads and local neighborhoods. From fossil fuel pollution to sea level rise, we are going to dance, sing, educate, and artistically express our concerns on climate change impacts.
