Norfolk Letter to the Editor Workshop

This workshop will be an opportunity for you to learn more about letters to the editor. We will go over what they are and why they matter! We will also review ways to write letters to the editor on current environmental issues with tips, tricks, and experiences!

Do you have important issues or causes that you would like to see covered in the media? Do you value sharing ideas that are important with the public and elected officials? Do you want to experience having your writing published in local media?

Letters to the editor might be for you! 250 words is all you need. This is a great way to develop writing skills and volunteer your time to support good causes!

This workshop will be an opportunity for you to learn more about letters to the editor. We will go over what they are and why they matter! We will also review ways to write letters to the editor on current environmental issues with tips, tricks, and experiences! There will be time to write letters during the workshop that we could help you submit then and there.

Where: The Muse Writers Center, 2200 Colonial Ave, Ste 3, Norfolk, Virginia 23517
When: Saturday, March 23, 4:00-6:00pm
Who: You! And other dedicated climate activists. Bring your friends!
Why: To learn how to write a letter to the editor, develop your writing skills, and volunteer to support good causes!
