Tom Pelton: “The Chesapeake in Focus: Transforming the Natural World”

You are invited to join us in celebrating the publication of award-winning journalist Tom Pelton’s new book, “The Chesapeake in Focus: Transforming the Natural World,” at a book signing and discussion.

Tom Pelton works as director of communications for the Environmental Integrity Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to holding polluters and governments accountable to protect public health. He has also been the host of WYPR’s “The Environment in Focus” since 2007.

The Details:

  • From 6 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, April 18, at the beautiful George Peabody Library at 17 E. Mount Vernon Place in downtown Baltimore.
  • Johns Hopkins University Press, the publisher, will be providing wine, cheese and refreshments. Live music will be performed by the great Patapsco Delta Boys: Bob Friedman and Tom Chalkley.
  • After some eating and chatting, at 7 pm Tom will discuss the future of the Chesapeake Bay and the threats posed by the Trump Administration.
