Take Back the Power: Mobilization at Dominion’s Door Step
May 6, 2015 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am
On May 6th, Dominion Resources will hold their annual shareholders meeting in Glen Allen, Virginia.
Communities on the front lines of Dominion Resources’ dirty energy investments, including those along the route of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline and down the street from the company’s massive liquefied natural gas export facility now under construction in Lusby, Maryland, will converge outside of the company’s annual shareholder meeting on Wednesday morning.
Join activists outside their meeting to demand that Dominion respect their rights and serve the long-term interests of both the planet and investors by prioritizing renewable energy projects over costly and risky investments in dirty energy.
Here are the details:
WHAT: Protest at Dominion’s Annual Shareholders Meeting, including speakers from communities affected by Dominion’s dirty energy projects across the region.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 6, 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM.
WHERE: 5000 Dominion Boulevard, Glen Allen, VA 23060 (Parking at the NW corner of Hyatt Hotel, accessible from Dominion BLVD on the right)
WHO: Landowners and residents directly impacted by Dominion’s energy projects, along with Virginians from across the state fighting dirty energy projects.
