On Tuesday, February 25, the General Assembly will hold its first hearing on our two priority clean energy bills this session: SB887, to retire the state's six coal plants and establish a transition fund for affected workers and communities; and SB656, to require the Public Service Commission to apply a "climate test" in deciding on applications for new power plants.
