Join the thousands of young people throughout Virginia who are working tirelessly to combat climate change, fight for environmental justice, and strengthen the U.S. clean energy movement.
The Virginia Student Environmental Coalition formed out of National Power Shift in 2013. This newly formed student coalition aims to unify city and campus communities across Virginia in our collective drive to fight for climate sustainability and environmental justice and create a network for advocacy, education, and action. Representing universities and colleges across the Commonwealth, VSEC is devoted to organizing Virginia campuses and at the state level to promote climate activism and rethink the use of fossil fuels in Virginia. We work to unify environmental and social groups to take action towards a more inclusive and holistic climate justice movement.
